Under the direction of Professor Johannes Wallmann, the Mead Witter School of Music’s student big band’s first concert of the Spring semester features guest artist Alex Noppe, Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at the UW. The UWJO performs music ranging from the classic big band repertoire to contemporary and cutting-edge concert music by today’s leading jazz composers. 8 pm, Music Hall, Mead Witter School of Music.
