This outstanding house concert series continues with a Nashville-based father-and-son duo of highly accomplished string musicians. Their music is hard to classify: a potpourri of gypsy and western swing, samba, bluegrass, and folk. Somewhat reminiscent of Harmonious Wail, they’ve performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival and the Chet Atkins Festival, and many folks festivals. Tim is a standout on rhythm guitar, and was the 2008 International Fingerstyle Champion, while his son Myles is a monster on violin and mandolin. Check out some of their music on YouTube:
