TECHNICAL RESERVE. Technical Reserve is the trio project of Chicagoan Hunter Brown (composer, improviser, and audio engineer); New Yorker Dominic Coles (composer), and Brooklynite T.J. Borden (cellist). Their singular improvisational language moves freely between discrete rhythmic shards, precision oriented bombast, and floating, hazy abjection. This is music for lovers of zero gravity jazz and truck stop shenanigans. Arts+Literature Laboratory, 111 S. Livingston. 7:30pm. Free event.
