JAZZ FLUX

JAZZ FLUX.  Jazz Flux is a sextet that features several of Milwaukee’s most active performing jazz musicians. The group derives its sound from elements of hip hop, R&B, and pop while incorporating elements of those genres into its performances of traditional jazz. Along with multiple musical influences, their performances are distinguished by the high energy the band brings; byproduct of the groups passion for the music and friendship with one another. Its members are Jamill Shaw: tenor saxophone; Clay Lyons: alto saxophone; Jon Wood: guitar; Ian Howard: bass; Yanni Chudnow: drums; Tael Estremera: piano. 7:00pm, Café CODA, 1224 Williamson Street.
