From 2002 until 2010, the Tim Whalen Nonet held court at Madison’s Restaurant Magnus. For 8 years, they had a run of sold-out shows, and even recorded a live album there. When Tim moved to Washington, DC in 2010, the band was shelved, and has only played twice since then. On Friday May 17th the Tim Whalen Nonet will make a triumphant return to Madison. Nonet members include:
