1/15:  EVAN VERPLOEGH AND BENJAMIN BAKER.  Evan Verploegh and Benjamin Baker are members of the Extemporaneous Music Society (EMS), a Kansas City-based improvised music and arts collective.  The duo features Verploegh on drums and Baker on saxophones and bass clarinet.  Together they explore the improvisational and experimental aspects of jazz music.  Presented by Blue Stem Jazz.  Audio For The Arts, 7 S.
