Making one of her all-too-rare Madison area appearances, vocalist Janet Planet headlines the Middleton High School’s annual Jazz Tracs Festival with a Friday evening concert. Ms. Planet will feature music from her most recent Bob Dylan Songbook Project, and will perform with long-time collaborators including saxophonist Tom Washatka, guitarist Tom Theabo, and bassist John Gibson, as well as Middleton High School’s jazz ensembles. Ms. Planet has performed with jazz luminaries like George Benson, Jackie and Roy, and her mentor Nancy King, among many others. 7:30 PM, Middleton High School Performing Arts Center, 2100 Bristol Street, Middleton. http://www.mcpasd.k12.wi.us/
