WORT-FM 40th Birthday Bash with Mama Digdown’s Brass Band

Though Mama Digdown’s Brass Band is the closest the evening’s music will get to jazz, this event is a chance to help support our listener-sponsored community station that presents 16 hours of jazz programming each week.  The music starts at 5:00 PM with March of the Meanies, the Whiskey Farm Acoustic Trio, and Mama Digdown’s.  After a dinner provided by New Orleans Takeout, and starting at 9:00 PM, the music gets heavier with Modern Mod, Cowboy Winter, and White Mystery from Chicago.  http://www.wortfm.org/celebrate-with-wort-at-our-40th-birthday-bash/.
