The all student Afro-Cuban group is a small jazz ensemble performing music of the Latin-American jazz diaspora, with an emphasis on the rhythmic traditions of Cuba.  The Contemporary Jazz Ensemble is a small jazz group performing modern mainstream jazz repertoire from the last two decades (such as compositions by Dave Douglas, Terence Blanchard, Kenny Wheeler, Chris Potter, David Binney, Dave Holland, and Brian Blade), as well as student compositions.
